Our toys are thoughtfully designed to give your dog a fun, safe chewing experience and will breaking before causing dental injury. Always supervise your dog whilst playing with toys. Inspect and remove any loose pieces before continued use. Due to hygiene reasons, we do not offer refunds.

I don’t like to give a negative feedback to this snuffle pad as I feel it may work well for other breeds. The issue for us was that the pockets are very deep and pointy and don’t suite the Labrador’s wide head and snout. He only got frustrated because could not reach the treats. We gave the pad to our friends that have a border collie as I think it would work well for them, but have not had a feedback yet.

I can see your concern here. it may be a consideration to look at our other snuffle mats they may suit your Labrador more being a flat mat rather than a pocked one like you currently have.
We do have an exciting new enrichment range releasing in the month of March with a wide variety to suit all dogs, there could be something here that might suit your boy better.

We have a 2yo Swiss Shepherd who is quite smart, so she needs a lot of mental stimulation. This snuffle mat has very deep pockets, so she has to try really hard to get her nose all the way down to find the food and takes her much longer than other snuffle mats we have used in the past. Our last snuffle mat was ripped to shreds because she got frustrated that she couldn't get her nose into the smaller compartments, so we've found this one much better for her longer, bigger nose as well. We love to use this when we don't have the energy to do a full training session with her at meal time, as it keeps her occupied for a while and after she has finished we have a tried and happy dog.

Both Pearl and Maggie (Tenterfield Terriers)enjoy hunting for snacks and nibbles in their snuffle pads.
I found that the smaller the food the more they need to really concentrate and hunt!!

My puppers love this puzzle so much. They enjoy their meal and treats being hidden in these deep pockets. Their sense of smell is stimulated plus they are boredom busters. Paws up from luna and max 🐶

I've purchased a few snuffle mats for my pups and this one is by fat the best! The way it's designed makes it easy to fill but hard for the pups to empty. Nice deep grooves but still accessible for both my small and medium sized dogs. Love it!

My 5 month old golden retriever absolutely loves the snuffle pad! It keeps him entertained for ages and he snuffles around in the segments again and again just to make sure he’s found all of the treats. It’s so pretty too and I have bought the enrichment bundle in matching colours.

My dogs are 15 and don’t like to go for walks so I wanted something that would keep them interested and this is fantastic they absolutely love it, and its so pretty!

Love the deep pockets of this snuffle mat, perfect for sniffy noses. Unfortunately my mini dachshunds just picked them up, took to their beds and all biscuits fell out along the way. To solve the issue I bought some sturdy plastic mesh, cut to size and sewed to the back of them. Now works a treat, they slide over wooden or tiled floors and add some extra weight to stop the boys picking them up.
Would love them to come with this already as part of their design.

Our dog Ripley loves iher snuffle mat unfortunately I think it’s to easy for her (she’s a Mal) still it keeps her entertained even if ot is only for 5 minutes

My dog has many different types of snuffle mats but this one is not only really very pretty it is also quite a challenging snuffle mat. The pockets that open up are very deep and hide the treats quite deeply into the mat. This has been a novel challenge for her and she loves it!!

As for the bowl issue, some pups can get so used to eating out of a bowl that it can be a bit of a challenge to switch things up. Have you tried gradually transitioning your pup back to the bowl by mixing some of their food with the mat, and then slowly decreasing the amount of food in the mat? This should help them get used to the change and eventually go back to eating out of a bowl. We know some pups just love the challenge and excitement of foraging for their food.

My border collie picks other snuffle mats up and throws them around rather than doing any snuffling. But he has to work for this one as that short cut it much less effective! Love it

We totally get what you mean about some dogs preferring to play with their snuffle mats instead of using them for their intended purpose. That's why we designed this one with a shorter cut - it might take a bit more effort for your pup to get to the treats, but it'll definitely keep him engaged and working his brain!

My husky is super into puzzles and snuffles, so he solves them really quickly. This one is a good challenge for him and such a beautiful design. Love this so much!!!
