This is the third one off these i have brought. So far it is the only plastic toy my dachshund can not completely destroy. He has the strongest jaw and teeth i have ever seen. Great value toy wish they made more out of this material as I really struggle to find toys that last longer than one hour or one day for my baby.

As a owner of a 7mth old dachshund, i thought this would be a great toy that he could not destroy. I was wrong within one week he had really chewed it to the point it now has very sharp edges which could cut his gums. It probably is a great toy but just not for us.

Ahh sounds like those puppy teeth are sharp! Understand this isn't the toy of choice for you, perhaps our rubber power chewers would suit more? The tough rubber still dent but is softer than the coffee wood which may suit your daschy more? We've had great feedback that its almost perfect condition after 6+months of chewing by husky, rotti, beagles tough chewers (minus a few dents and teeth marks)! This toy is awesome!! Super tough as it withstands constant play time with our Rottweiler. He even loves to sleep with it. I honestly believe this donut is his favourite toy.

For our young lab, hard wearing toys are hard to find. The donut chew bounces and rolls around for our puppy to chase and she only just discovered the squeaker when she chews hard enough!

My 10 month old Dalmatian is going through the toy destroying stage. This one has lasted! Pretty heavy but still good for throwing. Caterpillar shape means it bounces a little crazier too. Very hard to squeeze and when you can the squeaker seems like it doesn’t work/is very wheezy but we don’t mind, makes it less annoying lol

This one is really impressive - we've had it for over a month now and that's often a record for us. I don't buy my dog toys without being fully prepared to just lose the money so this caterpillar was a "see how it goes" trial for us and we LOVE it.
After 5wks it still squeaks (!) and it gets chased down our hallway every night and somehow ends up flung in our pot plants (!!) and the most that's happened to the caterpillar with Duke's big teeth and powerful jaws is a bit of paint off the eye and a tiny chunk out of the chest.
Would definitely buy again, am genuinely shocked at how good this thing has held up against over a month of daily rough and tumble play with my dog.

Our Sproodle is a solid chewer. Destroyed the tree branch. Also loves the squeaky doughnut. Hardly a dent on it. Purchasing another branch.

Not at all tough or suitable for dogs that like to chew! I spent $45 on 2 toys that were both broken in less than 5 minutes. The same quality as a $5 toy from Kmart, not worth the money.

This toy lasted less than a minute. The description says ‘tougher than tough’ but this broke apart in 2 bites.

Our dog loves his lick mat!
The suction bottom is great too it sticks to the floor tiles, the glass sliding door, even in the bath!

Our loving pup turned into a vicious killer upon seeing this monkey among his toys.
Upon seeing it he pounced and shook the monkey everywhere instantly, disabling its squeaker. Soon after he latched onto its ears, chewing them off with joy within minutes. We did try to rescue poor monkey but this made our pup more eager to pull it apart. Once he got the monkey back into his lair(bed) he proceeded to spend the next hour gnawing its legs off and throwing them around the room. We thought the monkey would be at peace after that but every day our pup loves to get hold of the monkey and pull its hair out while playing with it.

I wouldn’t say this is a ‘Power Chew’ especially not in comparison to the donut we also have. The extra bits (mouth, horn and tail) were chewed off very quickly but Ranni still likes to chew the body.

We do have a range of chew toys some stronger than others to cater for all dog breeds and levels. We have actually reassessed our toys range levels and are releasing some new and more tough extreme power chew toys this week. These may be better suited for your pup.
Although the Sea Horse body is a power chew we will be moving this down a level to rectify similar situations.
